About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm very curious of people, their interests, live, style of being, way of thinking. I love to meet people from all around the world, exchange points of views, discuss current internaltional situation, cooking together, visiting.

I have graduated from Warsaw University with master thesis in area of ancient Egyptian iconography and finished postgraduate studies on Collegium Civitas University with Sociology. Currently I am doing PHD in Polish Academy of Science on egyptian revolution.

One my biggest passion is traveling. I already have some experiences with Couch Surfing. I was being hosted in Switzerland and Dubai and also I had a chance to welcome in Poland guests from abrought. In Dudai I took part in CS weekly site seeing and desert camp with friends from CS. What is most precious for me thanks to Couch Surfing I could meet wonderful people who I hope will stay my friends forever.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find CS as wonderful opportunity to meet interesting people, make new friendships and visit new places. What is very important thanks to CS we can not only visit sites but get knowlegde how people are leaving in particular places, how do they feel there, what they think. It is much more exciting than just looking at places from bus window :)

Interests

I have many passions: dance, badmington, horse riding, Nubian and ancien Egyptian iconography, religions, magic, yoga, intercultural relationships, especially relations between muslim and western cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love books, especially scientific litarature.
The books which made biggest influence on me are these of Zygmunt Bauman and Joseph Stglitz. These books help me to understand the character of our times and how many inequalities there are in our world and remind me how important it is to stay open minded.
Lastly I have read book about theory of revolution and currently I'm reading about democracy in XX and XXI century (both books are polish editions).
My favourite music is jazz. I like Diana Crall, Nora Jones, Carla Bruni.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing think I've done was visiting City of the Dead in Cairo. This is one of the most important experiences in my life. I also remind myself often other places I have seen in Egypt: White Desert, Fayum Oasis, Valley of the Whales. And I miss these places every day...

Teach, Learn, Share

For teaching, learning and sharing one of best ways is travelling. During your trip you are never alone even if you travel single. Every minute you can meet new people who are very opened and hostageous. Exchanging life experience during journey is enriching me.

What I Can Share with Hosts
