Overview
About Me
I’m a Msc student in mobile robotics at EPFL in Switzerland and love traveling. I went to an international school in France and have been in around 30 countries now, so I really enjoy meeting new people and learning about other cultures
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Before trying couchsurfing, I had already participated to exchange programs when I was at school. I’ve hosted Japanese students at my house every year since I was 11 and until I was 17. I also spent a month in a host family in Canada when I was 13, and one in Japan when I was 15. I stayed with a host family in Spain through Lingoo (sort of language exchange social network). I started couchsurfing because I wanted to continue living such experiences, and it seemed the best way to do it
I’ve had my first couchsurfing experience in Japan in 2019, and I met so many amazing people that I definitely want to continue travelling this way
Unfortunately, as a student living abroad, it is very complicated for me to host for now... but I am really looking forward to do it !
Interests
I love travelling, learning new languages and drawing portraits. I also enjoy spending hours talking with people about literally anything.
I also have a great passion for food and am always willing to taste new things !

Music, Movies, and Books
Jazz, funk, rock...
French books probably not so famous abroad but: En attendant Bojangles (Olivier Bourdeaut), Les pianos mécaniques (Henri-François Rey)
Movies : the Grand Budapest Hotel (by far my favorite), Amélie Poulain, Mademoiselle, The Lobster, Django unchained, Spirited Away...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I stayed in a host family for one month in Japan when I was 15, and went to high school there
Also lived in London for a year to study economics before I realized I was missing science too much
Spent two months travelling around Japan on my own and doing couchsurfing
2 days of hiking on the Kumano Kodo Buddhist pilgrimage route (from Takijiri to Hongu)
Teach, Learn, Share
