About Me

22 years old girl looking for great experiences while travelling. Curiosity, niceness are the best words that could describe me as I am looking for people to meet up and share with.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Searching for nice people to meet while travelling around European countries, sharing different cultures, experiences and good tips or ideas of places to go to and to visit.
I think meeting people of diferent horizons is always the best way to forge one’s own experience of existence, which is, unfortunately, absolutely subjective and unsharable. So let’s try to enjoy time and space together as long as we can!

Interests

I love sharing a deep conversation around a good bottle of wine, as well as spending time outside enjoying the few sunny days that the North can offer.
I am a great fan of music, poetry and literature of all kinds. I am really looking forward to discover new references that can enrich my knowledge.
Specialized in Philosophy, discovering other cultures and opening myself to new countries and people helps me apprehend an open-minded vision of the world and of its particularities.

Music, Movies, and Books

Jazz, blues, funk, indie-rock, rock, post-punk garage... Mostly old bands from the 70s and the 90s, but also some bands from nowadays.

My favorite movies are Only Lovers Left Alive, Men and Gods, The Smell of Us, Nocturnal Animals, Love. This is a quick list because I am not able to remember all the things I like. I would rather make a list with the directors’ filmography.

My favorite books are Le Mythe de Sisyphe, Albert Camus; The Player, L Eternel Mari, Dostoievski; A Rebours, Huysmans; every pieces from Le Marquis de Sade; Le Diable au corps, Raymond Radiguet; Une Saison en enfer, Arthur Rimbaud; Les Chants de Maldoror, Isidore Ducasse dit le comte de Lautreamont; Les Fleurs du mal, Charles Baudelaire... Again, I can’t list every book I like, and this is just a quick “aperçu” of what I enjoyed reading.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I used to live in the USA, in Chicago for a year and a half. It was a great experience as I could really apprehend what it is like to live in North America, and I could travel a lot around the United States during several road trips.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I guess I could share my experience as a French traveller that has visited several countries and is interested in sharing points of view, ideas, reflexions and different types of cultural interests.
I am always ready to discuss about Philosophy, Arts, Music, and I am looking froward to listen to you and your experience to enrich my own perception and analysis.
