We are Agathe and Xavier, a couple who decided to travel around the world for 2 years! The desire to discover new countries, lovers of nature and hiking, the need for introspection to learn about oneself and above all curious to discover cultures and lifestyles. All these reasons made us leave our Parisian lives to go on an adventure!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We want to travel and learn about the world, cultures, customs and what better way than to meet those who live there in order to have the best possible vision of the place we are discovering

Interests

Hiking and nature 1000%!  we love taking our tent, walking and challenging ourselves.

Games !  Escape games, card games, beer pong and games of all kinds.

The food!  This is the field that brought us together.  We love discovering local dishes from each country we visit.

Video games !  Xavier is quite passionate

Sport !  We love climbing, cycling, yoga, parachuting, football and water sports for Agathe.

Of course, lots of other things, go for drinks, chat about life, live in the moment...

We are eclectic and Agathe loves to dance.

Our favorite series: stranger thing, breaking bad, the office, friends,...

Favorite movie: titanic, inception, harry potter, lord of the rings, french comedy and so many others but it's hard to keep track !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Xavier: while Xavier tried to climb Mont Blanc with his family, arriving at the last refuge before the final climb, some were sick and the weather was getting worse and making it impossible to climb. We had to go down quickly and were no longer in good enough shape for the descent. 2 choices are available for them: wait 5 days (maybe more) or be airlifted. Knowing that he had an exam 4 days later.
They will therefore have explored Mont Blanc from the sky!

Agathe: she organized events for a major Parisian caterer. One day, she was called urgently because they did not received the entire order of champagne.
She drove to the scene of the event, exceeding the authorized limit. Bad luck, the police arrested her but after some discussions, a negotiation was reached: no fine but 1 case of champagne for the police!
