Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To travel. But not only to travel alone, I wouldn't be on couchsurfing if it wasn't to to make encounters, to meet people from everywhere, with all different personnalities and stories to discover.

I made my first "couchsurfing-only" trip two years ago, and I understood very quickly that this was the way I wanted to travel. To meet people, but also to see one town, one counrty from their perspective, to watch locals' life or even to be surprise to meet someone from a totally different nationality in one country and listen to path that took him there.

I'd love to host people, I'm sure I'll do it when I have my own stable apartment, and whe my roomates agree..
But even meeting people from everywhere will I'm staying in my own town is such a chance that I'm glad I discovered couchsurfing while I was coming to Paris

Interests

I went to Pairs to study cinema and theater, and ending going to the university and practicing theater in the same time. I love theses two artistic fields, as I find they're really convenient to communicate a feeling or an idea through people. I went to the movies and to see plays since I'm a child, with my parents, then alone, and this has made me grow up and marked my life so much.

I love as well listening and discover new music, from every style, and from everywhere. Also, I love to paint, draw, write things, to read book, to read the news, to speak and to have debates with everyone, to learn new languages ...

And, also I was born in the mountain of the southern France, surrounded by nature, which makes it very important to me (especially since I live in Paris...). I love to walk alone (but not always) in mountains or forest, to see places that haven't been overtaken by civilization already.

Music, Movies, and Books

This might be the worst question ever.
If we meet don't ask me this if you want to have a quick conversation with me.

My favorite Movie would be "Little Miss Sunshine", as it marked my chilood.
But I have so many others in minds, as "Amélie Poulain", almost all the movies of E. Kutsurica, of Jim Jarmush, of Wes Anderson, of Leos Carax, but also Japanese cinema (Kore-eda, Kitano, Imamura..), or Brasilian (De Andrade, W.Salles, H. Babenco..), or even movies from the Middle-East or North-Africa.
Well, I'm open to every new movies or cinematography so.

Among my favorite reading, I can quote the books of Paulo Coelho, Boris Vian, Tony Morrisson, Haruki Murakami, Amélie Nothomb, David Grossman, Daniel Pennac, and many more famous or unknown.
Or classics such asThe Catcher in the Rye, The Great Gatsby... But also, I love theatre, famous writers surch as Jean Genet, Mayenburg, Harold Pinter, Claudel, but also lots of unknown artists (at least in France), such as Ascanio Clestini, etc...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've never really understood what's supposed to be amazing or not, I didn't do anything like bungie jumping, or hunging a tiger or anything ... So I might have noting to say here ?

Teach, Learn, Share

Well that also depends on you, I love to learn, I don't feel like I'm someone who teaches, but maybe more to show, to explain, and to share.
