Hi,
I am 31, originally come from Poland but have been in UK for almost 7 years.
I am a Maternity Nurse by profession and make clothes for the kids I look after as a hobby :)
I love reading, chilling in parks, meeting friends and travelling.
Apparently my taste for music and wine is seen as not too good :P
I am (mostly) a quiet person, but happy to socialize and party every now and then

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is always better to spend time with locals :)
Travelling on your own is OK for some time, but even for a quiet person like myself there comes the time when you prefer to have some company, couchsurfing is the best solution!!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: anything that I put on, from Queen, Lady Gaga, through Brazilian funk, Polish punk and Alicia Keys and Nat king Cole. Maybe except Irish music, I definitely dislike that
Movies: Lord of the Rings and Hobbit are my favourite ones, but I can definitely watch anything that is not scary
Books: recently Portuguese grammar ;) but in general I read whatever I can find in Polish (even though I can read easily in English it doesn't give me that much joy as reading in my native language)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I found myself a job and flew over to Brazil for 6 months, I was very proud of myself!
I am just stating my little clothing company and that's amazing too!

I'm not a good student as I'm trying to learn Portuguese for the last 4 years, but I'm working on it and whoever would like to help me is very welcome

being serious I am happy to share all my travel adventure stories, also help with anything to do at home. I am apparently good with kids so can look after your little ones if needed,
Plus you are more than welcome to visit me once you're in Europe, I live in UK but am in my motherland Poland few times a year
