Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
convince others I'm normal.
ABOUT ME
I'm a recent Public Policy graduate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Sometimes I studied, but most of the time I procrastinated.
I have friends. They aren't imaginary, promise. In fact, they are kind of awesome.
I like to travel with said friends. Have convinced people to go to New York City, Key West, Canada and Ireland with me.
Occasionally I talk in weird accents and I kind of enjoy taking out the trash. In sixth grade I broke my arm roller-skating and one time, I shaved off all of my hair (like Britney Spears, but I did so in a significantly less crazy fashion). My dad taught me how to change the oil in my car, and how to parallel park but not how to drive a manual transmission.
I can't wait to get old and retire so that I can spend all of my time building sandcastles at the beach. Being a crazy-cat-lady is probably in my future...I'm learning how to embrace it.
I also have a Facebook for your stalking pleasure. Go.
PHILOSOPHY
Everything's going to turn out fine in the end...and if everything isn't fine, then it isn't the end.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Your couch: I want to sleep on it. Can't promise I won't drool on the cushions though.
My couch: Actually belongs to the roommate. Is also actually a futon. You can probably sleep on it. Floor is also clean and not too terribly uncomfortable.
I sold a little piece of my soul for 25 dollars to get verified. That's right, I'm a real person!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I surfed around Ireland with four friends. Epic adventures happened.
I've hosted people in Chapel Hill. Tried to make the place seem more interesting than it really is.
Interests
I really like to ride my bike. I've stumbled my way through a few triathlons.

Music, Movies, and Books
I LOVE BOOKS. I like the smell of books. I like the way they look sitting on my bookshelf. I like the way my school textbooks make my bookbag weigh so much I nearly fall over backwards. I like the way I can get books for free from the library. I also really love reading them.
Folk, jazz and dubstep remixes of terrible top 40 songs.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been to the magnetic north pole. Its not nearly as cold as you might think, but more awesome than you can imagine.
I did research on polar bears.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn everything. Someone should really teach me how to dougie.
