ABOUT ME

Hi to everyone who is reading this. My name is Garrett.
I am 29 years old and grew up in California. Spent the first half of my life in Southern California, and the second in Northern. I currently live in Lake Tahoe with my roommate Eden and my dog Bosco.
I moved to Tahoe for the snowboarding, of course! I Started at 13 when I moved to Northern California, and I have been hooked ever since. I also love motorcycles, and guess I always have, since my dad put me on my first motorcycle at age 3.

My roommate and I are really active and enjoy most of the sports that the outdoors here has to offer. And we are always down for whatever activity others like to do here also.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is easy: have as much fun and do everything you want to in life. Live without regrets, learn from everything. Show the world that you are different by being real.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been on CouchSurfing for almost two years now and have hosted 100's of people. I love the site and I love the idea of meeting new people and being able to show them where I live. Inside information can be the difference between just visiting a destination or really experiencing that place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have almost always been a host with CouchSurfing. I was surprised to see how hard it was to get a couch when I did need it, even with lots of hosting references. Seems like more people need to give back to this site and not just take.
My experience while surfing was awesome though. I found a house just like the one I lived in, I was able to get along with everyone right away. I like the fact that you can find people with your interests from around the world
