The purpose of our Buddhist centre is to spiritual place for those seeking for truth and spiritual path. We also provide free education to nuns and children. We also do charity project and Dhamma translation and publication. We see there are many needed areas to be worked on.
1. To help children and nuns, our centre will offer free education like Dhamma, English, computer and so on. We also welcome volunteers to teach them Dhamma knowledge, English, Chinese, computer etc.
2. To help the poor people, we will conduct charity few times a year to raise funds and to offer necessities to them.
3. To do the translation of Dhamma books and Dhamma talks from Burmese to English and Chinese.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

We need volunteers in teaching i.e. English, Chinese etc, and computer. We also need help in driving, gardening, cooking and general help, and also need help in English transcription and translation.

We prefer those who can stay for minimum 14 days, and who can follow the local culture, and observe five training rules i.e. 1) no killing/harming sentient beings including mosquitoes, ants, etc, 2) no stealing, 3) no sexual misconduct, 4) no false speech, 5) no intoxicant including alcohol, cigarette.
Volunteers also must avoid singing, dancing, wearing perfume or do anything that can disturb our meditation place and the people who are meditating.

Volunteers are advised to dress appropriately, that are to say, t-shirt with sleeves, and also long pants/ skirts (for girls) and long pants (for boys).

For vegetarian people, vegetarian food will be provided. and Accommodation will be given. There is no charge for anything.

Duty time is 7.30 am to 12pm, 5pm to pm. The meditation time is 4am to 7am, and 7pm to 9.30pm. Duty and Meditation are compulsory.
Own rest time is 12pm to 4pm.

Ypu have to wake up at 4.00am to do morning meditation. This is compulsory.
