My greatest love is the outdoors. AND travelling. AND family. AND being active. :) Some people think I am strange because I don't drink or smoke, but I think I manage to have a lot of fun without those things. I am going around the world this summer and can't wait for the fun and adventures that await!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love New Zealand because the people are so welcoming and laid back. Many times upon meeting someone new they would tell me, "well if you ever get to ___ you can call my mom's 2nd cousin twice removed and they will put you up". After that experience I determined that I always want to have that kind of home. I feel blessed to have my own house and hate to think anyone would need to pay for accommodation when they are in the area and just need a place to crash.

Interests

I love anything active and/or outdoors. Some of my favorites are playing racquetball, soccer, basketball, football, ultimate frisbee. I have participated in a couple of sprint triathlons and half marathons.
I love hiking and camping, going to the beach and occasionally slow down enough to enjoy a good book and spend a chill evening with friends/family.
