To achieve enlightenment.
ABOUT ME
My name is Alexander. I'm a junior at St. John's University in Collegeville, MN. Since I was a small child, I've enjoyed talking with strangers and thinking outside the box. I love music. I can enjoy the finer things in life, but the not-so-fine things can be better sometimes. I love talking about philosophy. I have a strong interest in lucid dreaming. I also enjoy a good round of Super Smash Bros.
PHILOSOPHY
I think I'm still trying to discover what philosophy is best for me. I like existentialism and Joseph Campbell. I believe that being upset with or annoyed by people is a waste of energy. Tolerance and open-mindedness are great things. Communication is usually the key for everything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once rode the Power Tower at Valley Fair 42 times in a row. I stood up while driving a mo-ped on a Chinese street through the karst peaks of Yangshuo. It was probably dangerous. I threw a paper airplane off the Great Wall of China.
Teach, Learn, Share
From friends, I know a bit about evolutionary psychology, sociology and film. My major was Communication, so I do a lot with philosophy and rhetoric. I was also an Asian Studies minor and have lived in China for a few months, so I can share all sorts of Chinese culture.
