ABOUT ME

I am open-minded, a bit adventurous and rather optimistic. I like to challenge myself, even though this is easily achieved in my case: Climbing on a wobbly ladder might already do the trick.

I've not always been that outgoing, but I've learnt that meeting new people is one of the most worthwhile risks to take.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet amazing people of course! Travelling is so much more than just taking pictures of those must-see sights. I always love to get a glimpse of the local life, hear personal stories about the places I'm seeing and everything else that comes to mind, whilst sharing my own impressions and thoughts. Hosting is also a great thing, I love to welcome people to my home and to show them around a bit. It's also a great excuse to go out and get some drinks or have some cake!

Interests

Nearly everything. With an open mind, you can find joy and facination in every aspect of life. For me, having an interest in something is more of an attitude than a set disposition.

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh, there's such a lot!

My favourites might be..
- movies: Moonrise Kingdom. There are plenty of other films I really enjoy, but this one is just my all-time-favourite.

- music: I'm extremely open when it comes to music. I listen mostly to (0's music,Techno, Downtempo, House and Psychedelic Rock when I'm on my own, but in the end I enjoy everything that moves me or makes me move in some way.

- books: I read A LOT and I'm always open for suggestions. There are however two books (or book collections) I love more then anything else I've read so far: The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy because I really appreciate the way Douglas Adams sees the world and The Hobbit because the story itself is really important to me. It's about a normal person who takes a risk and just get's involved in something he would never even had considered before.. and finds out that this is something he enjoys and is good at, even though he's struggling with it sometimes.
