Hey you! My name is Agnes Yüeh-Dan, so I'm a mixed kid of German and Taiwanese descent. Maybe due to growing up in four countries on the map (The Netherlands, Germany, China and Taiwan), I adore exploring new cultures and absolutely love languages as well as good literature. I can get very excited about the etymology of words or stylistic devices! Besides getting overexcited about language, I enjoy meeting friends, playing the piano, cooking and doing sports (pilates, fitness, bouldering).

Besides, I've heard friends telling me amazing stories of entertaining evenings, deep conversations and instant connection with some of their hosts. I'm one of these annoying people that replies with "I like a bit of everything" - but it's true! Right now I'm particularly into German and Italian indie music as well as trying to discover some oldies.
As to books: I was the biggest bookworm growing up, always carrying a book and reading a lot. I still have a big heart for literature. Sadly, I feel like I've not been reading enough in the last couple of months which Is liked to change very much - so any recommendations to get me out of my rut are very welcome. 🌟

2018/19 I spent doing a volunteer service in Naples, Italy - which was in its own already an incredible, defining experience. In the summer I spent some days on Capri. Some locals gave me an insider hint and in the end I was able to swim in the grotta azzurra! It was an absolutely breathtaking, once of a lifetime experience!

I'm curious by nature, so I love trying out new things and learning something fresh! If you're passionate about a subject, you can probably catch my interest.

I really enjoy cooking, so if you want we can cook up a Vegetarian storm together. My personal secret Tiramisù recipe or a traditional Neapolitan pasta? I'll share it with you! Let's make something delicious, drink a cup of wine, have an interesting conversation (in one or two or three of my languages) or get into a passionate card or board game night! ✨☺️
