About Me

Holahola! I'm from Bremen, a northern city in Germany, and I love my hometown which is why I love to show it to other people. However, the past three years I have spent studying in Amsterdam. Now I'm back to Bremen for a year but soon I will continue my studies in MSc Hydrology in Freiburg, Germany. At the moment it's difficult to host other couchsurfers as I temporarily don't live at my own place. I hope to soon be able to make up for it!
I'm looking forward to get to know the couchsurfing-community! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

During my volunteering year in México, I've found out that it is way easier and nicer to get to know a culture when you are with a host (family). I would like to facilitate similar experiences and make the best of vacations. For me traveling does not mean to flee from one's daily life, but to flee into a unknown life, surrounded by an unknown culture. Couchsurfing is an optimal opportunity to do so.

Music, Movies, and Books

Bands I like to listening to: Mando Diao, SOJA, Royal Blood, Los Angeles Azules, The Black Keys, Milky Chance, Childish Gambino, Mano Negra, MS MR, Noah and the Whale, The Kooks, Melody Gardot, Kalkbrenner,... quite variable I guess

I don't really have a favourite movie, but I'm a bit obsessed with Tom Hanks and thus like all his movies. Generally, I like movies that give me food for thoughts. Same for books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've spent 6 weeks of WWOOFing at a permaculture farm near Tortosa, Spain. I got to know a different way of living, in harmony with oneself and nature. It was a great time, with awesome people; simply a very inspiring experience and I would love to share this with others!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Optimism! It's easy to make me laugh- good mood guaranteed.
