What about me?
I live since two years in Gothenburg in a house with good friends. I really like it, and the city is more and more becoming a home for me. I would say I'm a quite calm but active person, who likes to turn things into projects and likes to have things going on around me. One project is the band I play in named Dunk. I play keyboards, in this band mostly organ, mixing pop/jazz/punk styles. I'm also a language nerd, and like to turn and trix with words in my own language, as well as learn other languages. German has been my object of intense study during the last years.

Otherwise I would say I'm interested in learning more about history and politics. I like to discuss political issues and social questions. For example I find the question about the integrity for people or groups in a state very interesting. I studied history of ideas earlier, and that's an aspect of history I also feel fascinated by. Since one semester I'm a journalist student at the Gothenburg university. I think the best way to get to know more about the world is by talking to people. That's also why I'm on couchsurfing and I try to hold on to my conviction that everyone has something interesting to say.

I find the couchsurfing style of traveling very attractive. A place becomes so much more interesting with a personal voice that can say something about it. It's also something challenging with meeting people who normally wouldn't turn into my life. So far I have mostly been hosting but I'm looking forward to go couchsurfing soon!
