About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Taking the path less traveled...
ABOUT ME
Of Polish descent, I was raised in Texas, where I kept learning languages that were not so useful there. While I love living in Austin (and invite you to come see why), it's all the more reason to travel, right?
I've spent my summers (and more) studying and working in Poland, Ukraine, Siberia, Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic.
Now trying to finish my Master's thesis about a forest on the border of Poland and Belarus, while planning a 2 month bike trip through Cz-Pol-Ger.
PHILOSOPHY
If life gives you lemons, make lemonade.. or lemon pie.. or grow a lemon tree..
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Have hosted some good folks through my roommate, Cristen Andrews (http://www.couchsurfing.org/people/cristen/), who then used CS to circle the world by herself!
I love the concept and can't wait to participate more in hosting (when I return to Austin) and surfing!
Interests
riding bikes, listening to good music, dancing around, cooking, gardening, eating ice cream... actually, eating in general.

Music, Movies, and Books
Listen to everything from blues to hip hop to rock to metal to country classics.. if it's good, I like it. But none of the crap they play on commercial radio these days (do I sound like an old lady or what?)
I like to watch documentaries and weird movies.
Favorite book: Hope for the Flowers (1972) by Trina Paulus.
