ABOUT US
We are Agnes and Tommaso, we live in Rome. We are adventurous, laid-back and easy-going. We like travelling, discovering new places, art, cinema and sports (cycling, snorkelling, sailing and yoga)
Agnes is a linguist and English teacher, Tommaso is an artist and works in interior design.
We both love cooking, escpecially Italian cuisine and improvised veggie dishes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We are open to meet couchsurfers and travel with them. If possible, we also host other travelers (we've just move into a new house)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The only way we have been travelling is low-profile and easy-going. We did roadtrips with friends, hitchhiking, sailing as volunteers, organizing last-minute trips and embracing changes in sometimes unpredictable travelling schedule. The great thing about sharing this experience is that you really live it to the fullest and you face some unexpected, funny, scary and beautiful moments.
We believe that travelling is more than visiting a new place, it's hanging out with people who actually live in the area, to understand more about the place we travel to. When we travel we get in touch with local CSers, when we are in Rome we host, give advice and show around the city.
CS is a great platform to get in touch with fellow travelers and local people who are keen on travelling, get ideas about where to go and exchange information.

Music, Movies, and Books
books: reportage, travelling, Italian literature
music: anything that makes us wiggle! from classical, to electronic, reggae and dub roots, literally everything
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Agnes sailed across the Atlantic twice.
Tommaso quitted his full-time job and set off his own enterprise as a freelance interior designer (if you're curious about how it went http://www.tommasoguerra.com/ )
Teach, Learn, Share
Agnes teaches languages, so you can count on her when it comes to practicing conversational skills.
Tommaso is very creative and has a lot of ideas so he can do some craftwork and can teach you calligraphy.
We both can teach some Italian delicious dishes, sailing knots and how to cycle in Rome (which is quite an adventure!)
