Hi!

I am Agnese and I am a 21 years old girl from Slovenia.
Right now I am taking a gap year from university, but from October 2020 on I'll hopefully be studying cognitive-psychology in Italy.

I am half Italian and half Slovene, which means that I am fluent in both languages.
I have worked as an au-pair for half a year in a village near Paris, France, so I got the chance to learn some French basics.

I have three cats: Chris, Gin, Lana; but generally speaking I really am an animal lover.
I usually spend my free-time reading books, watching documentaries and movies, running, taking pictures, watching movies and play music.
Since I was a kid I have been interested in history and art, so I can say that I am an art and history lover (museums and galleries are a must when I travel).

Also, I am really interested in Asian culture and philosophy, in fact one of my favorite trips ever is without any doubt when we went to Bali.
I love looking at the stars even though I don't know much about them, love cooking even though I am really not sure whether I’m good at it or not.

I have a passion for old-skool things-- I have lots of LP's, I love taking pictures with my analogic cameras (my grandfather is a photographer) and enjoy watching old movies.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of my biggest interests and passions is getting to know new cultures and cool places to hang out with friends. The least touristic the better.
I am very interested in getting to know new people, their culture, new languages and foods.

Music: My all-time favorite band are Pink Floyd, then I also enjoy listening to Radiohead, Joy Division, Janis Joplin, Alt-J, Jimi Hendrix ecc. I also enjoy listening to jazz and blues, punk, metal, hiphop.. Literally I can listen and enjoy almost any kind of music.

Movies: Parasite, Jojo Rabbit, Donnie Darko, Inception, Lord of the Rings, Léon, Mr. Nobody, Disney Classics and many, many more!

Books: Wilde, Hosseini, Murakami, Leopardi, Nabokov, Baudelaire, Shakespeare, Giordano, Kosovel, Dostoevsky, Douglas

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Maybe the most exciting thing I've done so far was entering a mosh pit or stage dive at a metal concert hahaha
I've been twice to Metaldays Tolmin, twice to PunkRock Holiday, once InMusic festival in Zagreb and that's it for now.
But I'm an adrenaline lover, one of my biggest dreams is to try the bungee jump.

With my hosts I could share my interests, points of view, experiences, music, hobbies.
I can say that I am quite a talkative person, at first I can seem a bit shy, but that is because I don't want to be too invasive. Guess that’s a perk and a flow at once 🤷‍♀️
