Overview
About Me
I'm a very passionate learner and traveler who loves living new experiences around the world as much as being close to family, friends and my very deep Italian roots. I'm super curious and enthusiast about pretty much everything in this world, and immersing myself into new cultures, lifestyles and experiences is the thing I like doing most!
I was born and bred in stunning Tuscany, Italy, but I've also lived in Milan and Trento (north of Italy), Greece, Australia and New Zealand. I'm a bit of a wanderer! If I had to describe myself, I would say I'm a lot of things and their opposites: shy but sociable, lazy but very active and a good walker; I love being with people but I enjoy time for myself as well. I'm very helpful and I love helping/listening to people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the chance Couchsurfing give people to enjoy a new place in the world by living it through a local's eyes. It's a great way to travel cost effectively and get to know a culture very well at the same time! Couchsurfing encompasses all the best sides of traveling somehow, I just think it's a great idea!
Interests
I'm one of the most curious persons I've ever known :) I like discovering new things to do and experience, but I must say I've got some all-time passions that I'm sure will never go:
-traveling (travel is life. Going back home is life as well!)
-writing (I've got a travel blog that I take care of as if it was my child and I'm really proud of it!)
-languages: I'm in love with English and Spanish, I usually relax by making multilingual glossary, I love reading idioms dictionaries, I'm always up to learn new languages!
-reading (thrillers and travel literature especially)
-eating (Italian, Greek, French and Mexican are my favorite cuisines)
-walking (I'm getting into trekking as well)
-fitness and active like (this doesn't lead to a great body because it diesn't match with my love for food unfortunately!) :)
-watching movies and soccer on TV
-enjoy simple things in life!
- culture
- writing
- cooking
- walking

Music, Movies, and Books
I love reading and watching all kinds of books and movies, but I've got a flair for thrillers, detective stories and travel literature. I also enjoy the random documentary! I'm not really into politics and very violent stories.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I can't say because everything in life can be incredible! I like the fact I'm a very normal person, but I've traveled, I've lived some years abroad, I've lived many experiences around the world and I always have the patience to put myself to the test and to try and improve myself in everything I do. Can it be considered as incredible? :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Few things to teach.
Many things to learn.
Everything to share!
I can teach Italian and English, cooking some simple Italian dishes, something about the amazing places I've been to! I would like to learn everything about the places where I'm going to couchsurf, and some new languages, why not!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Some typical Italian food to bring to my host in my backpack (if I travel from Italy).
Help in doing the dishes and keeping the house tidy.
Some Italian words and phrases.
Some typical Italian dishes (cooking and recipes).
Experiences, tips and suggestions about Italy and the places I know more around the world.
Simple and quick web writing and translations when Italian, English and Spanish are concerned.
Lots of time to have a chat, share experiences, drink a cup of coffee (or a beer!) together!
