I was born in 1992 to wonderful travel loving parents who always took my brother and me on vacation abroad.
So going far away, seeing other countries and experiencing their cultures is very natural for me. Even though my nature is often rather of the shy kind I am also curious and love to meet new people. Food always draws my attention since it can be so wonderfully diverse and always brings people together. I'd describe myself as an active person who loves to go cycling and hiking not only for the amazing view from the top but also for experiencing your sourroundings more intensly than you do in everyday life. I really enjoy being in touch with nature.
Once a year I have to see the ocean, otherwise the year has been wasted!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

So far I've not been travelling alone a lot. I'd like to try it more though to bring myself up to being more outgoing. Whether it's to explore together or see new places through the eyes of a local.

Interests

Travel obviously ;)
Yoga, such a wonderful way to feel my body and calm my mind.
Reading: I need to find my zone, but once I'm in it's hard to get out.
At home I like to keep busy with gardening and little handyworks like knitting, crocheting and the likes.
