About Me

You know this feeling when you are too long in one place and you feel almost a physical need to move somewhere? This is exactly how I am.
Currently I am living, working and studying in Warsaw, Poland, but I cannot imagine half a year without travelling somewhere. It all started 3 years ago, after my high school graduation when I went to Oslo for 3 weeks to work as a babysitter. Back then I was completely lost, without any plans for the future, but thanks to this trip I realized that I don't need to have a concrete plan or settle down somewhere. That I am young, I don't know what to do with my life but that's allright, as I am still searching. And from then I am searching. Travelling here and there, knowing people and places, culture and traditions, languages and landscapes.
During these 3 years a lot has changed, but not my need of travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people, I am curious about others points of view.
I did workaway 2 times, met amazing people, been to amazing places and I am sick for exploring more!
During my workaways I learnt what is 'hostel life', how it is to live with different people from all over the world, how to deal with daily problems in big group. Also, how much you can learn from experience like this.
I heard about couchsurfing for the first time 3 years ago. Never had an opportunity to try it myself as a guest, so far I have only been a host 2 times and it was an amazing experience. So I believe the other way around is amazing as well!
I have a deep belief that to do such a thing like workaway or couchsurfing you have to be a special kind of person. Open, tolerant, curious. This is how I am and I would love to meet more people like this!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - basically everything, from Sting to Taylor Swift ;)
current biggest love: Bishop Briggs and Rag N'Bone Man (this guy I wish I marry one day)
Books - now mostly documents, travel reports. Recently I also started to read Houellebecq and WOW.
Movies - I prefer series actually, now La casa de Papel (excusing myself that it is to practice my Spanish skills), but when I watch movies, I love these ones which are leaving you with some deep thoughts after watching it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Did a workaway in France - totally changed my point of view of everything.
Lived in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria for 2 months - also workaway.
Did my first solo trip Las Palmas-Barcelona-Rome-Verona-Milan-home last year and realized that this is exactly what makes me feel alive!
Quit university for one year to work in gastronomic service with Latino people as a manager of restaurant.
Started doing tattoos - my childhood dream.
Started graphic school - my teenage dream.
Traveling whenever I want, wherever I want - live the moment!
Send my CV to English School without any experience and got a job. Kinda like being a teacher now.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I can make you a tattoo if you want. Or design a tattoo. Or design anything for you.
Can also give you some English classes - as I am a teacher for kids, I really pay attention to mistakes, pronancuation and all of these.
As I worked as a bartender and waitress for almost a year I can make good coctails and I know a lot about canarian/spanish cuisine.
Share? all my travel experiences. I talk a lot, I think a lot, for sure we won't sit in awkward silence!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Some fun facts about Poland - I am very open and tolerant, so don't hesistate to talk about stereotypes with me!
I worked in hostel for 2 months so don't worry about the mess - I don't generate it.
I can make good coffe and nice breakfast/brunch/lunch. Not really good in cooking meet, but besides this, I kinda can make eatable food.
All my experiences from travels - starting with good ways of searching cheap flights, going through experience in workaway to all the people and stories I met and heard. I also write a little, so I can share my reflections about almost everything.
And usually I travel with my tattoo machine, so if you want some tattoo ;)
