About Me

My current mission is to experience different countries and cities the way the locals do.

In a nutshell I am open-minded and love city by night.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling but I'm not satisfied with typical touristic trips. Coachsurfing gives me an opportunity to visit the world and feel the atmosphere of the places where I go. I am sure that without people I have met since I joined cs my voyages would be boring and kind of empty. I really appreciate receiving some advices about exploring the cities as the locals do, just to feel for one moment not as a foreigner. I also like to share my knowledge about Poland, Polish culture and places I've been and lived in.

Interests

I love cooking for friends and family (I've been vegetarian for 5 years). My great passion is sailing, admiring art, watching night sky, participating in different events and music festivals.
The activities I enjoy most include coffee, wine and pasta.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to different kinds of music: hard rock, electronic, classical, jazz - depends on the moment of my life / of a day

I have fallen in love with One Hundred Years of Solitude written by Gabriel García Márquez, Arch of Triumph by Remarque, Galapagos by Kurt Vonnegut, Donna Tartt's work, Shantaram and everything connected with LOTR.

Favorite movies: The Grand Budapest Hotel; Girl With a Pearl Earring; Obsluhoval jsem anglického krále, Amelie.

I am a great fun of series: Twin Peaks, House of Cards, Sherlock, Friends, The Borgias, GoT, Westworld.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed Mount Fuji during the night to see the sunrise :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Try to teach/share: making sushi; using chopsticks; how to survive and enjoy life without meat (what still sounds like a great challenge to many); share deep-down-to-your-soul thoughts and talks about life
