About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To make the world a better place, be as little of a burden as I can to mother earth. Be fun. Be thankful. Be smart. I think eventually, hopefully, I'll run a permaculture farm somewhere, maybe in Europe. I would like to learn healing in as many ways as possible. Yoga and meditation, therapy, nutrition, massage.

ABOUT ME

I'm friendly and open-minded. I have traveled a lot, expanded my mind in the encounters with other people and cultures. I am slowly learning to direct my thoughts in a more constuctive way and am a lot happier since, being less self-judgemental and more self-acceptive. Maybe it's age...

PHILOSOPHY

Do good.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've used CS quite a bit, a lot more than I have references. I've surfed more than I've hosted, I admit that, but now I'm available as your local hang out friend/tour guide in Stockholm in return.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing to me stands for much more than just a free couch. It connects people in a genuine and very generous way and it's a non-capitalistic way of traveling. That's important for real. I enjoy hotelrooms aswell but my travels have been so much more diverse and fun thanks to this community - thank you.

Interests

Traveling has become a lifestyle. I used to sing and play the piano but do so less today and when I do, I try to improvise or compose my own songs. I enjoy writing, at least when it flows. Yoga is a part of my lifestyle. I would love to have a dog again. Dance I do to survive.

Music, Movies, and Books

Alice Munroe, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, amongst others.
Last book I read was "Maken" (The husband) by Gun-Britt Sundström, a Swedish author. Really cool, fun and real. Written in the seventies with time typical features at the same time being very timeless and accurate.

I like classical music, house, hip hop, rnb, rap, electronic, pop, mantras...
Music that makes me feel cool when I listen to it is fun.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stopped eating meat.

Teach, Learn, Share

To be creative you need to stop worrying about the result. Let go of more things. Be thankful. Have fun. Don't ever stress (unless you're catching a flight). Eat slowly. Listen to your body. Remember we are all one, so be kind to every being; humans, animals, nature.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I appreciate every detail, every gesture, every good intention.
I like it fairly clean, like if it is really grose in your house, then I don't want to stay but I'm not fuzzy, just want normal hygene.
I like cooking and I usually cook for my hosts if they like me to, I think that is a great way of giving something back for the favor of having me crash in your house.
