ABOUT US
We're a couple from San Rafael, a small town in Mendoza, Argentina. Mendoza is "the wine and the sun's land", here comes up our passion for the Malbec wine. Gabriel and Agostina. We are both 28 years old. After our graduation in the university we felt the need of exploring the world and decided to go abroad to New Zealand. Why New Zealand? You would ask, it's right opposite the other part of the world from Argentina. Well, we knew that and it's a bit long to explain but we just say that it was one with which we fulfilled all the requirements, and at the same time that isolated group of islands with almost 1/3 of the territory taken up by national parks and with the amazing maori culture definitely call our attention. In September 2017 we start our trip through out New Zealand for a few month but everything changed since then and the trip became longer and longer, now it's almost two years abroad with 7 visited countries.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We are in couchsurfing cause we believe that other way of travelling is possible. This is authentic way of meeting the local people and their culture and is where the real exchange experience of travel in other countries take place.
We believe shearing with people is a beautiful way of learning more about this world. To connect even though our differences. Lear to be more tolerant with the one doesn't think like us, it's a great start to make the world a place more fare and free.

Music, Movies, and Books
We really love music! We like listening and exchanging music (sometimes you realize you listen the same music all the time).
Gabi plays the guitar and now he is learning ukulele. I'm not good playing so I just enjoy sitting next to him and listen how he plays. It's one of the thing we enjoy doing together!
We realy like spend our time reading. We couldn't enumerate a few books so I would say that some of our favourites writers are Gabriel García Marquez, Eduardo Galeano and Julio Cortazar. Gabi also likes reading manga!
About movies, now we prefer watch some documentaries about countries that we’ve visited.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Definitely living in New Zealand for 15 month was one of the most amazing thing we have done. There we worked in many different jobs and we learn a lot of new things.. we worked picking cherrys, in a kiwi fruit factory packing kiwis, as kitchen hand, cleaning and many others.
Other amazing thing that we’ve done is cross Viet Nam on a motorbike (both of us in one motorbike and with our backpacks included).
Teach, Learn, Share
We would be happy to teach if someone want to learn Spanish, share experience about our trip, work and holiday in different countries, to play guitar and anything we can help with.
Although we are very interested in develop our English, learn to cook local food and good talks.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We offer the experience and stories about our trips. Also we love cooking typical food from Argentina (vegan options as well)!
