Music, Movies, and Books

my musical interests are too broad to sum them up! but let's try... I especially like music with an experimental approach and a psychedelic touch, a space where analog instruments and digital sound come together. From ambient to disco, from rocksteady to funky, from jazz to rap.
as a musician, I usually play afro-brazilian drums, and I like improvisation.
as a dj, I like to dig in the spaces where club music meets local traditions and genres, especially with a tropical disco flavour.

I have a great independent cinema very close to my place so I go to see movies quite regularly. too difficult to choose my favorite ones... for sure I love David Lynch visionary cinema, and almost all the movies from Takeshi Kitano... amongst many many others

some of the most beautiful books I read recently were written by Winfried Sebald, Mariana Enriquez, Thomas Bernhard. then La vita agra by Luciano Bianciardi is one of my all-time favourites. I also read various essays on political/social/artistic issues

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

feeling the natural mystic in Chapada Diamantina (Bahia), walking in the ancient center of Diyarbakir (Turkey), swimming in Sardinia sea in front of Tavolara island... amongst others
