ABOUT ME

I try not to take life too seriously. Those who know me will agree that I love to joke around. I live near Seattle where I design and build furniture from salvaged materials. I also love riding bicycles, cooking, laughing, dancing, and enjoying good food or drink.

PHILOSOPHY

My life philosophy is much like many of yours. When I am old and nearing the end of my life; I would like to have many amazing stories of places I've been to and things I've seen and done. It is up to me now to decide whether those stories are real, of just fictional stories portraying what I wished my life had been like.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As most of you know, couchsurfing is the best way to travel! Having the opportunity to stay with locals who can show you around and introduce you to people is the best way to experience a different culture.
So far, my favorite experiences of CouchSurfing were when I was traveling through Portugal. The people I met were so amazing, and I'll never forget my experiences there.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like funny movies, also like Wes Anderson. For music, I enjoy anything that is simple and raw. I love folk music from various regions.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swimming in underwater caves in Hawaii with sea turtles circling about.
Backpacking at the Enchanted Lakes here in Washington, climbing further and higher into the mountains, until I was standing on the highest peak for miles.
