ABOUT ME

I'm not very good at describing myself... I've never liked doing so: I think it's better for people to see for themselves and draw their own conclusions.

I will say though that I consider myself very open-minded. I love meeting people and chatting away for hours! I like talking but I mostly enjoy listening.

Traveling is one of my passions, and although I haven't yet tried the CS way, I've visited quite a few places. I'm not much of the typical turist, though, as I like seeing the spots from the insiders point of view. Different ways of life fascinate me, and I could just sit and look at people passing by all day long. Which I haven't done so much abroad, as there's always so many things to see and so little time to do so that I very rarely got the chance!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm mostly curious about this project: I want to find out more about it, so at the moment I participate by offering myself to show you around!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no CS experience of my own yet, but I have some very good friends who speak only wonders of it!

I suppose all that sounds very typical, but it's the truth!

Musica, film e libri

I've always hated having to write lists of favorites... I just don't have them! They're too difficult to choose!
In general, I like rock- mostly from the 80s. Recent Spanish rock too. I'm a bit of an oldie freak (I adore The Boss and Sabina, and The Rolling Stones, Dire Straits, The Beatles and so on). But apart from very specific exceptions, you can find me listening to any kind of music! Including classical music!
Films... Even more difficult! I'm always, always, always up for a good film. I like films which aren't obvious from the start: I like to be surprised (although it doesn't happen very often, I'm afraid). I don't usually like blockbusters- I'm more of an alternative cinema fan. And always in the original language!
And books... I don't read as much as I'd like to, as once I start I find it very difficult to stop, and not sleeping/eating/attending courses/... is not very healthy (believe me, I've been there).

I've piloted a 3-seat light aircraft (under supervision!)

Insegna, impara, condividi

I can teach you Spanish, English or even French... depending on the level!

I'd love to learn other languages, other cultures...
I'd love to learn to play an instrument, if you're up for the challenge! ^^
