About Me

*** I literally JUST moved to Hong Kong and have been working every single day, so I know next to nothing about this place or any tourist attractions, which is why I would suck as a tour guide. However, if work isn't too crazy I'm up for exploring HK together, both with tourists and locals who could show me/us around.

And just because some people seem offended by it, I'm gonna write it here so there are no surprises or awkwardness. I'm vegan, and I don't care what you eat, I'm ok with going places that also serve meat. You do you. Mutual respect is everything.

Hi! My name is Klara, I was born in Vienna, Austria, to an Austrian father and a mother of Taiwanese origin. Thanks to my parents' patience, dedication and encouragment, I understood the value of knowing languages and not being afraid of experiencing completely new things at a very young age.

This profile was used by my mother Aguan and I, since I was underage when we first signed up, and she isn't that fond of fiddling with computers ;) I am now travelling alone.

So many places we've seen... yet so many to explore! See you soon :)

"Was du nicht willst, dass man dir tu, das füg' auch keinem and'ren zu." Basically translates to: Treat others the way you want to be treated.

I enjoy discussing about politics and theology as much as chatting about boys. Sometimes I love to party and live life to the fullest and sometimes I lock myself up with tons of good books and a cup of tea.
I don't believe in one superior being who will send me to hell if I don't obey, and I greatly dislike hypocrites who think praying alone will secure them a place in heaven.
Just be a good person. That's it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy travelling and experiencing other cultures very much, just like meeting new, friendly people, and CouchSurfing is a great way to combine both.

We've hosted, but so far our experiences with that haven't been all that thrilling, what with people breaking our couch and not saying anything, etc. So we try even more to be good surfers, and only had positive experiences with surfing- and we are very lucky with our hosts!!

At the moment I can't host anyone, but I'm always happy to meet up and show you around if you are in Vienna :)
