About Me

Currently I cannot host but I'm really happy to meet up. Shout out if you are LGBT+ and need help or want to know about the scene in Cordoba.

Hi! I'm Agustin. I'm doing a PhD in philosophy at the National University of Córdoba, in Argentina.

I study philosophy because I'm really curious and I really like to talk and debate, about everything.
Traveling is always a good way to meet new people and have a conversation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing allows me to travel while getting to know people, which is way better than just sightseeing.

Interests

Philosophy and Science: my life passions. My thesis is on the social study of science.
Politics: I find important to know whats going on and what are today's struggles. Even though politics can get difficult and intense sometimes, talking about it makes things better.
Cooking: I don't eat to live, I live to eat (and cook)
Drag: Once in a while I do a drag. I love dancing and performing. With a group of friends we're renewing the drag scene in Córdoba (@tardemarika).
Tango: Tango cannot get more beautiful. A hug, music, and dancing in synchrony with someone. It used to be sexist but with my friends we dance queer tango, where we change roles.
Crossfit: I discovered crossfit during the pandemic and it help me to get through very uncertain times. Now I practice many times a week.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent vietnamese new year (Tet) near Saigon with a friend and his family. After that experience I think that humans have more in common than we believe, even if we are from very different cultures.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't know if I have something to teach, philosophy is about creating knowledge together through a conversation or a debate.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A tasty meal and a nice talk.
Maybe some tango steps??

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Cambodia, Denmark, Italy, Laos, Mexico, Morocco, Myanmar, Netherlands, Peru, Thailand, Uruguay, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

Argentina, Brazil, New Zealand, Spain
