About Me

Traveling around the world over the last 10 years while still working on a regular job:)

Previously writing down all my experiences around all the 79 countries I've been in www.Mochilero.info , now it has more than 100k subscriptions:) now doing it directly on my Instagram page @agustintravel

Master in Economics from France, also with a postgraduate in Scotland and Argentina. I love startups and i used to build two of them (you can see some pictures on the album). I can teach you everything I learned about that learning journey!

Also you can see the articles that press and media wrote about me:

I managed a tourism organization too, so Couchsurfing goes with me very well, even because I love speaking as much languages as possible. Also I am trying to write down everything so after my trips put all my experiences in a blog website (or maybe YouTube?).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

'It’s all about the journey, not the destination itself’
For me CS it is an awesome network to meet people and make new friends around the world. It's the experience of living AS and WITH locals in a completely different culture than yours. To travel around the world.

Interests

Photography, gastronomy, cinema , conversations about life, geopolitical stuff, mostly anything ! :) Knowledge it’s a precious gift;
; To talk, love to learn about culture or languages; to travel and working in what makes me happy.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love every genre of music, I believe that if I like or not a song it would depend on the singer, not the genre.

Love Sci-Fi books, and also those kind of movies (Tarantino, Nolan, Spielberg, etc)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

### Maldives : swam with sharks 🦈 and stingrays without any protection equipment

### US Celebrities: I have met Keanu Reeves, Antonio Banderas and Conan O’Brien

### Haití: almost got trapped in a country in between a civil war raising up in the country (even the president got killed)

#Thailand: I have hugged a 3 meter tiger 🐅 without any safety equipment . Also jumped a rope on fire :)

### Argentina: I have created my own startups in my early years, it allowed me to learn a lot about life; also, thats something awesome because you do what to love, and if you love your job, “you'll never work again”.

### Croatia: I have explored the islands of the country driving a wood boat

### Slovenia: I explored the ruins of an abandoned building

### France:
# I was in the 69th Festival of Cannes (I saw Justin Timberlake, Woody Allen, Julianne Moore, Kristen Stewart, the director of Mad Max, etc):
# I saw AC/DC live on Marseille stadium.
# I explored alone a nazi bunker of the WWII in Normandy

### Slovakia: I had the honor to stay with one of the most awesome CSurfer of my life, he traveled 100 countries and he became like a guru to me now.

###Monaco: I saw the change of guards in front of the castle.

###Sweden: I have taken my first ferry and first cruiser in my life, and it was awesome !

###Finland: I had one of the best experiences of my life taking a lesson with my couchsurfer of sailing a wind boat. And then the party of my life.

###Ukraine: I was lost and super et under the rain in the middle of nowhere and I was rescued thanks to a CSurfer. After that we had an excellent afternoon.

### Macedonia- Bulgaria : my first long distance hitchhiking , I made Sofia - Skopje by autostop

### Kosovo - Albania : my second long distance hitchhiking , I made Pristina to Tirana by autostop

### Albania - Greece : my third long distance hitchhiking And a really crazy one Because i got trapped in the middle of nowhere in Albania and a CSurfer saved my life , I made Tirana to Thessaloniki by autostop

### Achieved my life dream to explore Europe, and until now Im still on It !!

Teach, Learn, Share

I guess now my biggest hobby has become my strongest skill as well: Traveling. I can give you all my advices it took me years to gather, and maybe we might learn something new as well together!

Would you like to talk about startups? I can tell you everything I know about it and learn about our experiences!

Did I told you I love cooking? I've won two awards indeed -long time ago but it’s funny to show them of :)-. Would you like to try some argentinian asado, empanadas, alfajores, chocotorta, or even the Malbec wine? Whenever I can, I do my best to bring souvenirs for my friends.

Also i can offer my help to help you clean the house, washing the car, cleaning the garden,

Teach you how to cook argentinian and south american dishes,

Our country history, politic, my anecdotes, etc;

Recommend you argentinian and South American songs, movies and artists

Or helping you with english, spanish or french.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Most of my journeys I'm equipped with some surprise souvenirs from Argentina!

Also, I guess that my 'buena onda' -spanish expresion- to mean that if I have the posibility to make you confortable, you gotta be sure i'll try all as I can.

(On the previous section I listed also many things that could belong to this category as well, like sharing my culture, cooking, help you on your daily tasks, teaching or helping you practice languages as well)

I love talking about traveling, airlines, movies and startup ideas!

I would really like to help you on the kitchen, not only as cleaning but as cooking as well.
