Hi! I'm Agustina, but my friends call me Agus or Gushi. I'm from Patagonia, Argentina, and I'm 32 years old. For several years, I dreamed of coming to live in Australia, and today, I’m making that dream come true.

I’m a nature lover—I enjoy hiking, the ocean, and spending time outdoors. I practice yoga and dance as a form of therapy. Movement and connection are essential parts of my life.

I love meeting new people, sharing experiences, and learning from different cultures. Traveling has been one of my greatest teachers, and I believe that every journey is an opportunity to grow and expand our perspectives.

I’m passionate about cooking delicious and healthy food, especially plant-based meals. I also enjoy gardening, growing my own food, and working with nature. Sustainable living and natural medicine are important to me, and I love learning and exchanging knowledge about them.

Photography is another passion of mine—I love capturing special moments, landscapes, and the beauty of everyday life. Lately, I’ve also started learning to play the guitar, and I’m really enjoying the process!

I’ve had the chance to host people in my home before, and every time, it has been a beautiful and enriching experience. Hosting travelers, sharing stories, and learning from each other’s journeys has taught me so much about connection, generosity, and the beauty of cultural exchange.

I’ve also been hosted while traveling, and it’s an incredible feeling to arrive in a new place and be welcomed with open arms. Couchsurfing is not just about finding a place to stay—it’s about sharing, trusting, and creating meaningful connections with people from all over the world.

Spending time with my friends and family is very important to me, and I also have a special love for cats. I find happiness in simple things like cooking delicious meals, riding my bike, drinking mate, and practicing embroidery as a creative and meditative activity.

I consider myself a curious soul who knows a little bit of everything. I love exchanging both theoretical and practical knowledge.

Throughout my journey, I have learned and can share knowledge about gardening, medicinal plants, natural cosmetics, vegan cooking, crafts (embroidery, sewing, natural dyes), bookbinding, languages, group dynamics (voice exercises, meditations, connection exercises), tool usage and carpentry, music, and many other little things.

All of these skills have become part of me thanks to the opportunity to share them with others. I truly believe that the best way to keep learning and growing is to continue sharing them!
