Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hosting is a way to travel without moving from home and to share experiences, knowledge and good moments.
Recently, I read a quote by the Frenchman Jean Anthelme Brillat-Savarin: "To invite someone is to take responsibility for ensuring his happiness for as long as he is beneath your roof". I think it's a good summary of my experience in Couchsurfing, I've always been very happy being hosted and I hope my guests to feel the same way.
How much better you can know a culture if you spend part of your time with local people?
Now, it's my turn to travel, know new cities and, specially, new people. I'm travelling around and I want to live like locals do. You can also live and meet Argentina through me!
When I think back to a city I've visited, I always remember the people I've met rather than the places I've been in. That's why I think Couchsurfing is so important.
