I'm a graduate student studying Soviet history in the USA. For now, I'm living and traveling in Russia and the former Soviet Union as part of a research year. When it finishes this summer, I'll be going back to the US.

I unfortunately have never had a good place to have people stay on my couch, but I've always been happy to meet people and show them around anywhere I've lived. I've met some great people!

Right now, I'm reading Howard Zinn's _A People's History of the United States_. I've also read a novel by Jim Harrison in the last month or so.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

An amazing thing I've seen - Lake Baikal, and the trip there on the Trans-Siberian was an amazing thing to have done.
