ABOUT ME

I'm an Egyptian journalist currently living in Berlin while I'm studying my Master's degree, lived in London before where I was studying my first MA degree and loved it. Lived for few months in Dubai and absolutely hated it! It was the most lonely, soul-less place i've ever been to. real tourism is in knowing different people not just new places.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was hosted by couchsurfers in Moscow, St. Petersburg. Met many other couchsurfers along the way in Russia and Turkey and Cairo.

Meeting new ppl and makin friends nd iteracting with cultures frm all over the world through travelling, i also enjoy clubbing, watching movies, music, watching and playing football and reading.

Music: Indie Rock, Brit-Pop, indie and synth-pop, new wave, French house, electronic, classics but regardless of all the aforementioned, A GOOD TUNE IS A GOOD TUNE.

Favorite book would be Gabriel Garcia Marquez's "Living to Tell The Tale".

Big fan of Christopher Nolan's philosophical Inception and Interstellar. Love stuff like Sophia Coppola's Lost in Translation and Spike Joneze's Her just to name a few.

Definitely being at the wonderful Petra in Jordan was a breathtaking experience. Also, nothing tops Moscow's Red Square as I've always had something for Russian and Soviet history in particular.
