ABOUT ME

Above all else, I love to have fun. Laughter and humor are things I try to infuse into my life on every possible occasion. At the same time I am very responsible and often times referred to as the "Mom" of my group of friends. Along the same lines I'm loyal, honest, smart and trustworthy, but don't enjoy bragging about myself so I'll leave it at that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will be leaving at the beginning of March for a 4 month haul throughout South America...glad to be able to couchsurf once again and can't wait to meet some new people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only had a few couchsurfing experiences with a couple of friends while traveling in New Zealand. All three were amazingly accommodating and I love that I have walked away from every one having learned something new.

Interests

A lot of my time is spent working in order to provide for the current travel addiction I have acquired. Although it is work, I enjoy what I do while both teaching swim lessons and waitressing. I meet some amazing people and have stumbled upon some amazing opportunities which is something I also love about traveling.

I enjoy all music...those that fall lower on the list might be country and heavy metal, but I'm open to being converted.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

"Kidnapping" my friend from our job early on her birthday and blindfolding her on the way to the Mapua, New Zealand airport for skydiving. Puenting in Ecuador, where you jump off a bridge and pendulum swing underneath...loved it so much I did it twice. And when my first nephew was born and I got to hold him for the first time.
