ABOUT ME

Was born in San Francisco. Traveler. Spend about half my time in Europe. Dance and do yoga. Like to go out. Like to see new things. Writer, journalist, linguist.

Yeah, traveling is fun. Though I go slowly. As often as not, I'll just go to a new city and stay for a month or a year. For the most part I've really only lived and traveled in Europe and South America.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Up until now I've just gone to the odd CS event. Sometimes I've shown someone around a new city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Good, but limited.

Sitting in cafes and people watching, traveling. Underground bars in Berlin. Dancing tango and modern. Looking around, languages. Just discovered acro-yoga. Nature; spend a lot of time in nature. Film and journalism or things I have done and will probably do in the future.

I just watched six films from Sam Peckinpah and am trying to work my why through the Nordic films. Love anything written by Philippe Djian. Just finished the Glass Castle and Liars Club as well as Stieg Larson's trilogy. Music, well I dance a lot, so something danceable ranks high.

Desert in Chile and Bolivia. Jungle in Costa Rica. Wilderness in the North of Norway. The night life in Buenos Aires and Berlin.

Just fun to speak some other languages. Glad to kick around with people to check out things in Stockholm. There is so much to see. Good to check out art and dance venues.
