ABOUT ME

I grew up in a small town, lived in many cities... but back living in a smaller town. Masters in Intercultural Studies, but am a hands-on learner and learned more outside the classroom. I own a few small businesses. No kids, but have a service dog-Bender, don't smoke, drink for enjoyment. Can be quiet or chatty. I travel light, so don't take up a lot of space. Though, lately, I have been traveling with Bender more often, as my health is unpredictable at times. I enjoy discovering unique foods, some call me a foodie. I love learning about cultures and hear unique stories about different locations/people. I love the outdoors, travel, cooking for friends, live bands and dancing swing to country swing, always seeking new adventures and learning new things...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first random experiences...before I knew about coach surfing...shared my couch with a co-worker in college whom i found out was sleeping in her car... crashed on strangers floor in Albuquerque after our group met them at the balloon festival. Since then, I've have hosted a few random homeless and couch surfing folks and I met a wonderful couple/friends here in Bozeman because of coach surfing before moving here.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

Graduate school burnt me out in the enjoyment of reading, though past favorite books were autobiographies. Trying to pick it back up. Not picky about music, will listen to almost anything, but really love live bands, from bluegrass, blues, rock n roll to classical. I barely watch movies, but do enjoy them...when I can stay awake to watch.

So many amazing things... Kayaking a river and off mini falls with Bender (my dog) and more recently, a spur of the moment trip to Nepal with a past tenant to help rebuild a village from the earthquake disaster.

I have a lot of travel and life experiences... I surprise myself occasionally what I know... cause I forget easily too... :) But, I love to share my time, food and laughter...

My quiet side, if they want quiet. But, hopefully good company. Some story sharing, some laughs... I love to adventure out to eat something unique from the area and would love to share a drink or meal with you as a thank you... Or possibly cook a meal for you if I am inspired...
