ABOUT ME

Student of it all, 39yrs. Spend the last years in Sweden, five years in Beijing before that, used to be Dutch but quit that habit(us)... Nice guy according to some of my friends.. Mostly go around second-hand bookstores and odd coffee-places and meet weird people and enjoy the serendipity and the beauty of it all. Right now live is ..not boring as I’m trying to survive Scandinavian winter on a small sailboat :-) Welcome over if I´ve the "couch" available

PHILOSOPHY

Para mí sólo recorrer los caminos que tienen corazón, cualquier camino que tenga corazón. Por ahí yo recorro, y la única prueba que vale es atravesar todo su largo. Y por ahí yo recorro mirando, mirando, sin aliento.

It´s a long time since I´ve stood up on the stage, it´s about 14 or 15 years. I was 60 years old at the time, just a kid with a crazy dream. Since then I´ve taken a lot of Prozac, Paxil, Welbutrin, Effexor, Ritalin, Focalin. I also turned to a rigorous and profound study of the religions and the philosophies, but cheerfulness kept breaking through.

Traveled since I was 15 and haven´t really stopped after that. All the small things and all the great tastes and the quiet dancing in the street at 3 am to a song or a gust of wind..memory of an amazing book. all that jazz

Surfing in Bali,Running the bulls in Pamplona when 15 years old, hitch-hiking the West Bank during the 2nd intifada, living in Nepal during the revolution, teaching in China´s first artist colony the year it started, working as a Jackeroo and riding in the Augathella 1999 Rodeo, being madly in love. Sharing coffee and falling in love at Hugo's, helping giving birth to my two daughters, every conversation with them since.. a night around a fire... getting deported.... such a life ;)
