I'm from Tartus which is a coastal city, it's right on the water and my house is about 10 mins from the sea.

I moved to Kurdistan in 2019.

First and foremost, I made everything clear so we can both have an interesting experience, I care about this a lot so please don't take it as RULES, you can consider it as a simple guidance. 🤣

I'm a very relaxed and flexible person and enjoy conversations but there are few things that I seriously need to make it clear for couch surfers "don't be too cheap" it feels so uncomfortable sometimes, couch surfing is about the experience, a way to get to know people closely - it's not a Free hotel to stay in for a few days and leave.

Don't expect me to spend money on you like a rich Arab prince or something.

I'm already offering you a nice/ safe place to stay in so I'm not entitled to spend more unless you are a very nice person who likes to share stuff with people so you can get us something and I'll be getting us something.

I'm not into politics at all, so please stay away from me if you wanna discuss such stuff. I love talking about all kinds of other different topics though - cultures - languages, food and music and whatever else?

About the personal hygiene! I don't have to keep giving you hints to take a shower. lol
I mean I don't want to offend nobody and I totally understand that you guys are travellers and you are exploring countries but Feel free to use my bathroom for a good shower! Like how could anyone enjoy someone else's company and they stink!!!

Bring Cash with you! You won't be able to use your Visa card in Erbil and most likely the ATM won't have any access to your bank so you can't withdraw cash.

PS: advanced English is appreciated. I would prefer to have conversations with my guests and unfortunately I don't speak sign language.
