About Me

Moved from London to Guernsey, so the below doesn't apply anymore, will update it when I get a chance

----!! Please read before submitting a request for me to host you. On weekdays (Mon-Fri) you need to leave the flat by 6.30 as that's the time I need to leave for work!! ... however I may give you the spare set of keys if the circumstances warrant it ----

-- Second note -- As you may have seen by some of my references, I've been able to host 2 people, unfortunately I can no longer host 2 people due to limited space so please don't send me a request for 2 people as I'll have to decline you --

--- Third note -- I have no problem with long or short stays, whether you're staying for one night or weeks at a time, both are cool with me --

Not really sure how to fill this section out. I'm a tad shy at first with new people but I soon open up, I can be a bit reserved until you mention a certain video game or food that I would quite happily kill for ;)

I'm tall (the first thing people notice about me xD) , which is definitely an advantage in London, seeing over the crowds has had it's uses. I enjoy my food and also at the same time I try and exercise regularly ... key word here is "try" or attempt...

I'm new to couchsurfing, so with that I have no reference (hopefully this will soon change) , I'm happy to give you my facebook and Linkedin profile links so you can verify who I am :)

I enjoy a variety of hobbies which include, mountain biking, martial arts, video games and volunteering to name a few

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I moved down to London from Derby for a job move however to my dismay London feels like a big lonely city at times. The internet nudged me towards this side to meet new people and since I have a couch spare at the place I live it kinda made sense.

Happy to see where this goes ^^

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite band at the moment is Bring me the horizon with their new song Throne. My music taste is a mish mash of a variety of different genres, one minute I'm listening to cheesy pop the next minute heavy metal. Some bands I'm currently listening to are Against the currant, Trivium, A day to remember, fall out boy and Metallica.

Favourite book is a bit tricky, when I read books I get immersed into them and then forget about it when I pick up the next. The latest book I've read is Dragon Age, the stolen throne.

Favourite movie, hmm, I'm not a massive fan of movies but every now and then Indulge myself. My genres of choice are comedy, martial arts, horror, gore and adventure/action

In terms of TV I'm super stoked for the new season of Game of Throne, Arrow, Gotham and The flash

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't really know, I've done some cool things in my life but nothing that won't define amazing, well not yet anyway :)

Some cool things I've done

Build my own PC
Lead my own team of volunteers to tackle issues such as Youth Homelessness and Mental Health
Dry stone walling in the peak district

Teach, Learn, Share

I can probably teach some basics to Taekwondo so you can be kick ass ;D , I can also help you get the most of your andriod phone and computer (IT techy)

I'm very open minded so I'm happy to learn anything in return ^^

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a PC with over 500 games >.> (I know!) xbox 360, old retro games (ps1/ps2) and a bunch of films. (edit) I just realised how bad this sounds, "yay you've come all this way to travel and I'm going to invite you to play video games which you probably already have at home" oh deary me

I also have a mountain bike which I'm happy to let people try, more people should defo get in to it ^

Some basic Taekwondo to make you kick ass ;) (Korean martial arts)

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Iceland
