About Me
Hi everyone!
(I actually flunk this question every time I interview, but here goes)
My name is Sy, now sadly working 9 to 5 again, finding time to be the most precious thing in the world. What better way to spend it than with people who can reciprocally share the good stuff; knowledge, experience & wisdom. A couch to surf & maybe some travel tips on is hardly fair price for that.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The travel bug bit me, but the money bug hasn't. Couchsurfing makes those two somewhat less incompatible. I look forward to meeting others with the same philosophy.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Dvorak's Cello Concerto, edging out Finzi's by a tiny bit
Movie: Um, not very much into movies unless someone drags me along to it
Books: That last scene in Le Guin's 'A Wizard of Earthsea' was priceless. Tepper's 'Grass' is a masterpiece for a mildly longer read
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I learnt LaTeX in 1/2 a day! While chasing a deadline!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love to trade languages, recipes, book recommendations & skills (I can do bike maintenance, computer hardware & software, some electrical & electronics work).
What I Can Share with Hosts
If you ask in advance, anything Malaysian I can share. In a pinch, I'd be happy to do housework & cooking (maybe not very good)
Countries I’ve Visited
