About Me

I'm a Moroccan guy who lives currently in Germany and studies Computer Science.
I'm very friendly, open minded and I like to meet new people from all over the world to exchange cultures and experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Three years ago I've been depressed because of studies and life wasn't going fine with me.. so I decided to take a break from everything and go into the wild.. I didn't have much money to make a world tour or some of those long trips I'm hearing of in social media, so I just decided to travel in my home country Morocco. I have climbed first the highest mountain then the second highest ( the second is actually more difficult than the highest ) and made a lot of amazing trips along the Atlas mountains. Back then I had no idea what couchsurfing is, but I practicied it many times unconsciously during my travels. I have met a lot of people, some were just free souls like me, other were just passing by and offered me a host or a drive ( hitchhiking ), and some offered just a cup of tea and a deep conversation about traveling and life. I found out that life was more than just studies and work and routine lifestyles in the city. It was more. It was about discovering new things, meeting new people, knowing different cultures and different ways of thinking.. it was about listening to the music of the nature... Later I decided to move to Germany and start all over again. Now I'm studying and I'm more focusing on the other side of life.. but I don't want to isolate me from the world of traveling. That's why I'm here, to know new people from different countries, different religions, different cultures with different tongues, and of course I don't wanna be just a taker.. I also wanna give and share what I have.. and from time to time I might be doing some short trips and I may also look for a host.. why not ? Life is about giving and taking.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music : I listen to different kinds of music. It all depends on mood and occasion but in general I prefer Rock (alternative/soft?/hard/progressive) and Blues.
Books : I rarely read books. I read mostly just articles. The last book I've read was "7 Habits of highly effective people" and the last Novel was "Noumidia".
Movies: it's been a while since I have watched a movie. I watched recently only series but I can say that "Interstellar" is one of the best movies I ever watched. My number one Serie is "Breaking bad" and I don't think it could never be replaced by another one. The last one I watched and I liked it was "Unorthodox".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I started a solo trip from my city and ended up being in a group of 11 lovely travelers in one of my longest trips across the Atlas Mountains including the second highest (4071 m) and the most difficult summet in Morocco.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach my mother language Tamazight/Berber or Arabic or a bit of French and we can have an interesting conversation about languages, cultures, religions and history since I'm interested in these topics and I love cultures exchange.
I also like cooking and we can cook together some delicious Moroccan dishes and I can as well teach some Moroccan recipes.
I can also teach some guitar playing basics if you are totally new to guitars since I'm myself just a beginner.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We will share everything I have. My room, my food, my WiFi and everything my guests would need. Just feel free like you're home.

Countries I’ve Visited
