About Me

I'm sitting here trying to write something to sum me up and its quite puzzling. But I'll tell you what. I used to be pretty standard, good old boring job and never ending routine but that one day six months ago, something...different happened. Something changed. Something in there just broke down and I couldn't take it anymore. I quit my job. and I started doing the one thing that I am passionate about. Changing people - well, in a way - I started working as a trainer and I have never been happier. At some point my job was to pretend I was hosting the Oscars how many people can say that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of my lifelong dreams is to discover all countries of the world. The thing is staying in a hotel is not discovering. You only really get the feel of the actual country when you live a bit with the locals.

Interests

I love travelling. I will have a blast with nothing but my trusty backpack in an all new country. Exploring thats what I call it. I like to just go try strange things.

FOOD. Do I need to say more. I am a foodie with all the meanings that you can possibly come up with for such a word.

I like sports as well. I like basketball because I'm tall, football because I'm egyptian and squash because there is just something satisfying about smashing that ball into the wall and I will give you a run for your money in foosball (if that is considered a sport)

Music, Movies, and Books

Well, If you wanna talk music, I am a rocker all the way. I've been playing guitar for 6 years and drums for 2 years now and listen to quite a variety of songs from Daft Punk all the way to Sinatra.

I am a Movie Buff. There. I said it. If it is a movie that is, was or had a chance to be famous at some point in history, chances are I have seen it. It doesn't stop there, I watch most series too.

I mostly read thrillers or mystery books; James Patterson and Dan Brown mainly. I also occasionally read a business book but not as often as I would like it to be.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent two month in Kenya volunteering in a school in the slums. It was a life changing experience. This was the trip that I really discovered that - excuse the cliche - life begins at the end of your comfort zone. Ever since I have been going out of my way to try new things and well..discover my self.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Well basically, my food and my sense of humour. I make a mean french toast and my signature dish "CBBs" which is a poor mix of corn dogs and mexican hot dog. Oh! and we can always play and/or listen to music together too.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, England, France, Germany, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
