Overview
About Me
Egyptian expat full of energy, joie de vivre, and free love. On a quest for fun times and open-minded conversations, and I'm always up to share stories over drinks or home-cooked vegan food.
Around the time of the Arab Spring I began my career as a producer and scriptwriter for a few satirical TV shows, but due to the shifting political climate we were all forced off the air. Not content with being silenced, I shifted my talents to the NGO world and I currently work for a major UN organization. I travel for work and my own sense of wanderlust.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As an extroverted traveler I enjoy making meaningful connections wherever I stay. Airbnbs and hostels are great for the social aspect of my trips but they are short and fleeting. In that light I consider Couchsurfing to be a more interesting and deeply intimate way of getting to know people from other countries and cultures.
That said, it's no wonder I also love being a host! My loft is always ready to accommodate people spending the night and I deeply enjoy throwing parties. As far as sleeping arrangements go, I have a comfy inflatable double-bed, a spare mattress, and of course, my comfy couch!
