About Me

I'm 20 years old engineering student. I'm from Tunisia and currently I live in Budapest, Hungary. For the last 3years, I've started camping in several places in Tunisia. Now, I want to discover more of the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm Couchsurfing because I want to discover places through discovering its people. Going as a tourist and staying at a hotel room doesn't count as traveling for me. Yet, meeting a local and talking to him about the culture/stories/places is the right way to do it.

Interests

I'm a lover of adventures. I went camping and hiking several times in different regions in my home country, I also used to do cycling for a while. I played football and volleyball in my high school years, and I still do.
From the moment I got out from my city and started discovering other places, I realized that I'm missing a lot of what's happening in this world, I'd love to know more about people, about their culture and their travel stories. I want to tell them about mine as well. Realizing that we have limited time in this life made more motivated about traveling and meeting new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I play guitar, and I can share with you the traditional Tunisian music, I'm also interested in English and French music( classic, pop rock, indie rock.. ) and literature. We can talk about movies as well, but I don't remember all the titles that I watched

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I still remember the sunrise that came after the first night I went camping in. At that moment I felt an outstanding feeling of freedom and extreme happiness. I kept staring at the horizon and the blue sea for a while. Maybe it sounds so simple, but it meant a lot to me at that time.

What I Can Share with Hosts

For now I can't host travellers yet. Hopefully, I'll be able to do that starting from February. However, I can help hosts with a tour in several places in Budapest, and show them the cheapest/best places to get food, souvenirs.
