Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a foreing student in Istanbul, and I want to use this opportunity and visit other places in Turkey. As a student with limited income, Couchsurfing is my best option.
Moreover, couchsurfing gives you the opportunity to have a closer contact with the locals. In my case, that will enable me to practice and improve my turkish. Or in other cases (if the hosts are not locals) , Couchsurfing gives a further and in depth contact with another person ; a potential friend, and a guaranteed contact which I hadn't before couchsurfing.

Interests

I am a huge football fan, (I love watching, playing, speaking about football, anything I can do related to my passion)
I am a TV Series addict (mainly American, some British) .
I used to be a bookworm. I still read now, but not as much as I used to do.
I am an avid gamer, my only limit is my shitty hardware (poor pc and no console) :p
I do some coding, as a future Computer Engineering student.
Yup, so now I will just list all the random little things I like :

Music, Movies, and Books

Music : I listen to everything, all the way from Symphonic Metal, to Trance, passing with some old school quality rap. As long as the music have a message, and as long as the artist respects and knows his craft, I enjoy his/her music. My favourite bands/artists though : Epica, Guns n' Roses, Muse, Linkin Park, ... and the list goes on

My favourite movies : Cry for the Owl, The boys are back, My Blueberry Nights, ..
My favourite series (in order :p ) : Prison Break, Friends, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Better Call Saul, ..
My favourite books : Inferno (Dan Brown) , Veronika Decides to Die (Paulo Coelho), Les Temps Sauvages (Joseph Kessel), Eric (Doris Lund), Call of the Wild (Jack London)
