I am a 6th year medical student in Alexandria University. A liberal in thought, I have an open mind to the diverse cultures and religions of the world. I have grown weary of walls, borders and checkpoints; all I want is to know people, connect bridges and build friendships.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm tired of being a tourist; I want to live with locals, talk with them, break bread with them and above all I want to think like them.

Interests

Apart from medicine, I also have a passion for languages. Not merely for how they're spoken, but also for their music, their history and how they have changed and evolved over time.

I am an amateur astronomer, coin collector and programmer. My other interests include: history, economics and politics.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books:

I like reading about almost everything, from history to astronomy. As for novels, I prefer those with a historical backdrop or an insightful moral. My all time favourites include: A Thousand Splendid Suns, War and Peace, 1984 and Robinson Crusoe.
