ABOUT ME

I am a wanderer who lived in 4 countries and many cities, a music composer, software developer, and a master's student from Cairo currently settling down in Hamburg, Germany. I am really into art and I enjoy socializing with those who would add something new to my experience. Traveling and moving a lot had a great impact on the way I interact with people since I was a kid, it has positively affected my personality and tolerance towards others. I enjoy talking a lot and if you're a really talkative person, you may have both my couch and my attention :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My Couchsrufing experience began when hosted a really interesting Indonesian Couchsurfer in Tallinn, his name is Fikri, later he hosted me back in Amsterdam. So we became friends, and when he returned back to Indonesia, he recommended me to participate in a travel contest to win a free trip to Indonesia, and I did win! So I met him again in Indonesia... That's why I'm on Couchsrufing, to acquire true social and travel experiences.

Interests

I enjoy walking, I can walk for hours and not get tired or bored, I also like cycling. Music is my passion, I play 3 instruments and I compose music so I worked as a composer/sound designer for short films , documentaries, and advertisements. Music, Movies, and Books

Film music, classical music, electronic music, basically any kind of music that sounds good to my ears.

I have watched a lot of movies and I can say that my all time favorites are: Oldboy, The Shawshank Redemption, das Leben der anderen, Fight Club, and many other films.

I like reading Sci-Fi and philosophy books. Some of my favorites are: Animal Farm, Identitiy by Milan Kundera, The Prince.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I won a travel contest to Indonesia which covered all my travel expenses. I flew to Komodo, Flores, Kanawa, and Rincca Islands where I got to see an amazing creature that exists only there. The Komodo Dragon! You can see it in my photos.

I also entered inside the great pyramid of Giza (Pyramid of Khufu) and climbed up. it was amazing.

I can teach you music production and composition, sound recording, maybe middle eastern violin if you're interested as well.
