ABOUT ME

I am a down-to-earth individual who loves nature and enjoys social interactions. I have add opportunities to live in major cities in the US (New York, San Francisco, Boston, Philadelphia) and I also enjoy tourism (though my opportunities for that have been limited due to academic or work related commitments. I am a mature, honest, warm and friendly individual. I usually go out of my way to make my guests comfortable. I will not give bad advice to anyone and I try to exercise sound judgment in every situation I am in. I am also super low-maintenance and anyone who has hosted me has found me to be an excellent guest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I anticipate more opportunities to travel (both for fun and for work) and my hope is that through Couchsurfing I can accomplish my goals while staying in budget -- I would like to reciprocate the community's welcoming stance by giving back to the community and opening up my place for other guests.

Interests

I love playing football (soccer). I am a liverpool fan and am pretty sad that my team has not been doing well for quite some time now.
I enjoy the outdoors. Love hiking and biking. I enjoy watching almost all sports. I also like to play board games :)
I am also an avid reader.
Update: Been a while since I last came here. Been busy with married life and our two beautiful kids. My wife and I are together learning what it means to be a parent. Every day is rewarding in its own unique way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I won the award for being the top ranked cyclist for Hubway (a bike rental program launched in Boston -- it is like Zipcar but for bikes). I can safely say that I have biked to most places in Boston on my Hubway bike.
I almost drowned once in Puerto rico trying to see fish (i was snorkelling without knowing how to swim and ended up getting caught in a water current that kept dragging me into the ocean). Got saved by a life guard. But honestly, I saw some of the most colorful fish I had ever seen.
