About Me

While I identify as an introvert "according to personality tests at least", I have been trying to seek discomfort ever since I joined university back in 2011. I became a resident assistant (RA) which forced me to get out of my comfort zone and stay there. I learned to be spontaneous and to seek adventure whenever I can. I spent a semester abroad in 2013 in Boulder, Colorado, US (one of the greatest cities to live in) where I tried to get myself into adventures where at the end I would say how the hell did I manage to do that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of the reasons why I am on Couchsurfing because I am trying to get out of my comfort zone by doing things I would not normally do. While it is probably safest to get a hotel room, it is quite an adventure to trust in a completely strange person to stay in his home and take a glimpse of his life.
The other reason is I am interested in people and love to hear their stories; so I would rather spend my life chasing stories to tell when I am old than playing it safe and miss on some new adventure.

Interests

I am interested in any new experience that would enrich me and expand my mind.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading anything I can get my hands on as long as it is interesting. I have so many favorites but the one that had the most impact on me was "The picture of Dorian Gray".
As for music, it is no different than reading really.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went skydiving while I am afraid of heights. Went to the top of Pikes Peak in shorts (I was in a car though). I also snowboarded a black diamond slope on my second day of learning how to snowboard (that did not end up well for the people who almost died laughing at me). I also managed to complete a four-day hike in the La Garita Mountains after injuring my knee on the first day thanks to a great supportive company.
